While almost everyone loves to travel, we don’t necessarily love what greets us when we get back.
Climate and dietary changes coupled with the stress of flying, can easily result in dry, blemished and tired looking skin. I have some great news! As a traveler you can counteract these side effects by remembering to pack a few key ingredients.
According to a Ayurvedic Physician I had the pleasure of sitting next to on the plane (go figure) I was educated on how to prevent jet-legged skin with some in flight Ayurvedic beauty tips. From an ayurvedic perspective, travel causes an imbalance or increase in the vata (air) and the pitta (fire) constitution. Vata because you are increasing air and space while in flight and and pitta because you are changing time zones and diet. These imbalances can result in skin irritations, breakouts or sensitivity.
