Feed Your Skin for the Change in Season

I hope you’ve created a awesome summer for yourself and you’re getting ready for the new season.

Often as the season changes so does your skin. With summer being almost over your skin may be showing signs of unprotected sun exposure, dehydration, poor diet and stress. So why not take a closer look at your skin and incorporate some simple changes today. I am by no means a product junkie, however when I chose products I like to use ones that are locally made and have as many natural ingredients in them as possible. I will share a few of my favorites with you in this post.

Daily tips
Want real evidence of the life you’ve lived? Take a close look at your skin. Over the last little while I’ve realized that when I don’t pay particular attention to my skin, it shows pretty quickly. It is simple, and I want to share these tips with you!
Years of unprotected sun exposure, dehydration, poor diet and stress can take its toll inside and out.
However, there are steps you can take, all of them easy and comforting, that can put a healthy glow back on your skin.
Daily Suggested Tips
*Create some space for rest and relaxation.
*Soak away stress and toxins in a warm bath with Epsom salts or other herbal and homeopathic infusions.
*Treat yourself to a head-to-toe exfoliation with a natural brush, followed by a massage with organic aromatherapy oils or an awesome body scrub.
*Healthy skin needs a good diet based on organic vegetables, fruits, lean meats, omega–3 fats, nuts.
*Remember to hydrate your body with at least two liters of fluids each day to flush out toxins.
*Clean with non-soap cleansers.
Here are some of my favorite non-soap cleansers:
*Moisturize with a daily cream, containing antioxidants known to rejuvenate skin, minimize wrinkles and reduce inflammation, such as topical vitamin C ester, alpha lipoic acid and CoQ-10.
*Before going outside, protect your skin with sunscreen, a hat and light clothing.
