It’s been a while…

This is a much overdue post on my where about and what I’ve been up to!
It’s been almost 4 months since Kareem and I have left Vancouver. For the first part of June we spent some time living the ‘Dolce Vita’ and relaxing in Italy with my family and relatives. We then made our way to Budapest where we have been living for the summer. I have to say Budapest is a pretty gorgeous city to live in the summer! Like with any place, I have acquired some favorites…this is a stunning city. It really comes to life in the evening and the architecture is like none I have ever seen before. I don’t think I have ever looked up as many times admiring the unique character of each building.
Aside from getting accustomed to the way of living in Budapest, I have spent the last 3 months working on new projects (stay tuned for details…) learning new things and enjoying what Budapest has to offer. The hungarian baths are AWESOME! I’ve also taken up a regular yoga practice which I am really enjoying.
The days have gotten cooler now and the familiarity of September is in the air with a feeling of change with the new season. On September 27th, we will be leaving Budapest and heading to Istanbul for a week. I then head to Spain and France before I meet up with Kareem on the plane to Melbourne, Australia. This will be home for us for the next 3 months or so. Check out some of my photos on Italy and Budapest and come back often for newbies I will add along the way.
I want to mention a big thank you to those of you who have been keeping in touch with me, it means a lot and I love hearing what you’ve been up to…keep it coming!
